PLASTIC RECYCLING
PROCESS
Acceptance, classification and selection of plastic materials:
regrind, Washing, Granulating, Micronization, Homogenization and Packaging.
The recycling process begins with the collection and acceptance of the different types of plastic materials.
Once arrived the different plastic materials are classified according to their characteristics and type of product (PE, PP, ABS, PS, PVC, etc.).
Regrind: for reducing the materials to the appropiate size for their later use. An alternative process may also be applied.
Granulating: An extrusion process for obtaining a final product to be applied to cable, hose, lamination, footwear, etc.
Micronization: a process that consists on a further size reduction (800 microns) starting from regrinded materials.
Washing and drying of the regrinded materials which will be used as final products.
Homogenization and packaging as the final step of every recycling process.
